Updates. They have never been more important; or more frequent. As hackers and malware authors target our computers, the software manufacturers are doing their best to keep up with these attacks. This is resulting in many more updates than usual.

Most update notifications are valid, some are not. It’s hard to know without each notice being seen by an expert. So no easy answers here. The important thing to know is that updates are necessary. Not optional.
